Our Worship Style
Cross of Peace Lutheran Church is a causal, but traditional worship community. We have an eclectic and robust music style. In the same service we may sing from the hymnal, sing a song by Bob Dylan and sing something that may have played on radio during your morning commute.
Simply come as you are. Children and youth are always welcome. When we state that ALL are welcome, we truly mean ALL are welcome. We are an authentic group of people who want to grow deeper in our faith.
All are welcome at God’s table at Cross of Peace.
Special Worship Services
Sensory & Family Friendly Worship:
Every Sunday at 10:30 am (9:00am June – August), we offer a service for people of all ages and
abilities, including those on the autism spectrum and those with sensory sensitivities.
Each service takes place in a relaxed environment where people are welcome to be
who they are and hear the message of God together with family and friends. Our
sensory friendly worship services feature a shortened worship service and are
supported by social scripts and visual cues.
Christmas:
Traditional Candlelight Service at 3 and 4:30 pm.
Lent:
Worship is held at 7 pm on Wednesdays during Lent with Holden Evening Prayer.
Easter:
A Saturday Easter Vigil Service is held at 7 pm. Easter Sunday services are at 9:00 am and
10:30 am.
