Our Worship Style

Cross of Peace Lutheran Church is a causal, but traditional worship community. We have an eclectic and robust music style. In the same service we may sing from the hymnal, sing a song by Bob Dylan and sing something that may have played on radio during your morning commute.

Simply come as you are. Children and youth are always welcome. When we state that ALL are welcome, we truly mean ALL are welcome. We are an authentic group of people who want to grow deeper in our faith.

All are welcome at God’s table at Cross of Peace.

Special Worship Services

EPIC Worship:

This year, we will offer EPIC Sundays, which will include a meal and learning for all ages
after EPIC Worship. EPIC is Experiential, Participatory, Image Rich and Connective. EPIC
worship takes place once a month to mark special days in the church year. It is a time
where we worship together as an inter-generational community and have fun learning
about our faith in new and creative ways.

Sensory & Family Friendly Worship:

The first Sunday of the month at 11:30 am, we offer a service for people of all ages and
abilities, including those on the autism spectrum and those with sensory sensitivities.
Each service takes place in a relaxed environment where people are welcome to be
who they are and hear the message of God together with family and friends. Our
sensory friendly worship services feature a shortened worship service and are
supported by social scripts and visual cues.

A Family Friendly Christmas Eve Service is held at 2 pm and Traditional Candlelight
Services are at 3:30 pm and 5 pm.
